The Heartland Foundation is a 501C.3 nonprofit organization which was formed shortly after Heartland Assisted Living opened in the fall of 2012. After seeing how the elderly residents have flourished and thrived on mainly organic meals, we asked ourselves “why should the less fortunate elderly folks in our community go without healthy organic meats?”
Now we rely on donations to help bring organic farm fresh pork chops, thick cut bacon, pork loins, roasts, smoked hams, baby back ribs, etc. to their tables. We would love to continue this project and expand on it thereby reaching more and more of the less fortunate aging community everywhere. Overnight Shipping is an option depending on availability.
Our mission at the Heartland Foundation is to raise donations so that the less fortunate elderly are able to improve their health by eating organic meats. Donations go towards raising organic beef, pork, chicken, turkeys and vegetables. Also, donations help with our breeding programs, vet bills, structural barn maintenance and of course delivery costs. Keep in mind these tasks are done mostly by the elderly for the elderly.
Please help us help your senior neighbors! We thank you very much!
